The Plaza Theatre was a wonderful place to stage this - not a bad seat in the house. I had never seen 'tap' live like that before. The musicians were incredible - they were just as good and talented as the dancers. To see and hear the dancing in person and to experience the music live makes any other venue pale. The dancers were so enthusiastic and 'on'. The relationship between the Irish dance and music to what evolved in America - square dancing, fiddling, tap - was brought to life so vividly. If you have ever watched Tinzo & Jojo on TV or on video and loved it there, then seeing it in person is a must.
